House Clearance Legal Obligation

We are happy to supply to any prospective customers our waste licence registration number and after a job relevant copies of waste transfer notes. This is something that everyone offering any kind of clearance service is legally obliged to do.  

A transfer of waste costs in the order of £190 per tonne depending on which licenced facility we use. There are also charges per mattress and sometimes for fridges and freezers. It is a cost passed to us and we include this ALL within any quoted price. 

It may mean that we cost a little more........however using a firm that do not do this can very much be a false economy. Breaking the law can result in prosecution on both sides and some very unethical behaviour ruining the character of the local environment.

If you have a quote from us please read our terms and conditions carefully. 

If you are having a house clearance, we will need to know that you hold full legal title of goods, or that you are an agent acting legally on behalf of the executors of a probate estate.
